Responsibilities:

As an SEO Manager, your primary focus will be in developing and implementing our SEO strategy across multiple web properties.

  • Improve and maintain existing rankings
  • Inbound link building
  • Build relationships with web publishers
  • You’ll be required to collaborate with our team of writers, designers and programmers for implementing your SEO efforts.
  • Conduct SEO audits
  • Perform keyword research
  • Provide management with reports of the performance of the SEO efforts
  • You’ll be working closely with our marketing department

Requirements:

  • 4+ years SEO and search marketing experience
  • Extensive knowledge of on page/off site ranking factors
  • Experience utilizing tools such as Seomoz, Ontolo, Raven.
  • Understanding of Google Webmaster Tools and Google Analytics
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets utilizing excel by utilizing macros, pivot tables, etc.
  • Proven track record of rankings in competitive niches
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others

Education:

  • Bachelors degree required

Affiliates Manager

As an Account Manager at this cutting-edge affiliate marketing company, you’ll have the chance to work in an innovative, fun, and smart environment. This company creates the marketing campaigns for over 2,000 clients, each of which are major Internet brands (ie: Netflix, e-Harmony, etc.). In the past three years, their revenue has grown from $110-million in 2009 to roughly $200-million in 2011. This is a hot industry, and this company is at the forefront!

In this position, you’ll have the opportunity play a crucial role in campaign optimization, client management and revenue generation. You will be given an existing book of business to manage, but will also be expected to bring on new clients. As this is a rapidly growing organization, you’re the type of person who adapts to change quickly and is comfortable with ever-evolving Internet programs / websites.

You bring online advertising sales, especially affiliate marketing sales experience to the table, and will be someone that the junior-level members of the team can look up to.

You will report to the VP of Sales & Marketing, and will be interacting with clients and colleagues on a daily basis.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years experience of B2B sales experience in the digital media/affiliate marketing industry.
  • Post-secondary education
  • Demonstrated superior client management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong interpersonal, organization, and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented, efficient, and a good team player
  • Existing knowledge of online campaigns such as CPC, CPA, CPM, etc. is an asset)
